Nomogram of uveal melanoma as prediction model of metastasis risk

BackgroundSince the poor prognosis of uveal melanoma with distant metastasis, we intended to screen out possible biomarkers for metastasis risk and establish a nomogram model predicting (UVM) metastasis.MethodsTwo datasets UVM (GSE84976, GSE22138) were selected. Data was analyzed by R language, CTD database GEPIA.ResultsThe co-upregulated genes two datasets, HTR2B, CHAC1, AHNAK2, PTP4A3 identified using Venn diagram. These are combined clinical characteristics, Lasso regression conducted filter metastasis-related biomarkers. PTP4A3, tumor thickness, retinal detachment (RD) selected nomogram.ConclusionOur study provides comprehensive predictive personalized estimation tool assessment 3-year better accuracy.
